Above is Maria at the wedding of her grandson Juan Vicente to Josefina.  Maria is in the middle, with Juan Vicente and Josefina to either side.  Then Asuncion is to the left of Juan Vicente and her husband Domingo is to the right of Josefina.  Maria Victoria “Marive” and her husband Jose Luis are the couple on the right.  The couple on the left is Asuncion’s last child Jose Antonio with his wife Ana Maria Martinez de Zabarte.

Maria married Vicente Chopitea and had four children: Benita, Asuncion, Santiago, and Pilar.  They all had the last names Chopitea Uribarri

Maria’a second child Asuncion with her husband Domingo Hormaeche.  Asuncion had three children: Juan Vicente, Marive, and Jose Antonio

Their oldest daughter Benita was named after our Benita, and she became a nun.  She is pictured here with her grand niece Ana Horamaeche (daughter of Juan Vicente and Josefina) and her grand nephew Ander Gorostiza (son of Marive and Jose Luis).

This is the wedding of Marive and Jose Luis.  From left to right:

Juan Vicente and Josefina, Pilar (who we visited in the rest home), Maria, Jesusa, Santiago (son of Asuncion and husband of Jesusa, they did not have children), Santiago Bilbao (son of Pilar, the little girl to the right is Maria Luisa Bilbao, the other daughter of Pilar.  Pilar really wanted us to meet her two children, Santiago and Maria Luisa), Asuncion, Marive, Jose Luis, Jose Antonio and Ana Maria, two unknown friends, Domingo behind Maria Luisa, Ramon Bilbao (Pilar’s husband)

Tereza Uribarri and her Descendants

Benita’s oldest sister Tereza Uribarri Barainca - Tereza was the 4th of the 6 children.  Tereza married Julian Zabala and had five children: Jacinto, Maria, Eulogia, Alejandra, and Domingo.  They all had the last names Zabala Uribarri.  Alejandra and Domingo did not have children.  Shortly after the birth of their last child, Julian went to America where he had some financial success, sent back monies, but unexpectedly died and was buried in the Boise cemetery.  The family said that Tereza was very generous with the monies received and gave it away to help others.  Below is Tereza with five of her grandchildren.
